Accessibility

Neighborhood

Black Bear Meadows is located in the Island Park Village subdivision located at the northern end of Island Park. We are located in close proximity to the golf course, playground, and a gentle hill for winter sledding. The clubhouse amenities include a pro-shop, 9 hole golf course and driving range. (Fees for use of resort facilities are an additional charge) Although these amenities are very near by, the cabin feels very secluded especially with the wide open meadow off the back of the property.

Guest Access

Guests will have access the entire cabin and area/yard immediately surrounding the house.

Good to know

Our guests love the close proximity (scenic 25 minute drive) to YELLOWSTONE and spend their days exploring. In the evenings return to the calm, private view from the covered back porch as you cook on the grill or around the fire pit. Black Bear Meadows offers countless opportunities for world class recreation right out the front door. Winter is amazing at the cabin (especially if you LOVE snow). Whether you choose to snowmobile, cross country ski or snow shoe, winter is an amazing time to stay. For our summertime guests, you can leave right from the driveway and connect with the famous Island Park Trail system and ride countless trails on ATVs or mountain bikes. A popular ride is the scenic old rail line in to West Yellowstone (approx 20 miles). There is a shop that rents mountain bikes, ATVs and canoes/paddle boards located less than a mile from the cabin. If you need time to relax and rejuvenate from all of your "adventures" you will love the serene and peaceful 180 degree views off the back covered porch of the meadow and Two Top. Fire up the BBQ grill and eat your meals seated at the table on the back porch. Be sure to use our roasting sticks and roast a marshmallow or two in the fire pit as it becomes night falls and bring your telescope to star gaze at the wide open sky. The inside of the cabin has an inviting, bright and welcoming feel. Upon entering the front foyer you will immediately find yourself drawn to the large picture window with an unobstructed view of the meadow and Two Top. The main floor great room has comfortable leather couches and a 75" TV. Gorgeous pine tongue and groove ceilings are throughout the whole cabin bringing a little of the outdoors in. The great room also includes a dining room with a large rectangular table. The kitchen is roomy and well stocked with ample space to gather and prepare meals. The beautiful granite countertops and large peninsula offers plenty of counter space for meal prep. From the dining room, french doors lead you to the covered porch which share the same amazing views. You will appreciate the convenience of a half bath off the front foyer. Black Bear Meadows cabin boasts 3 cozy bedrooms. The large master is on the main floor and again shares the unobstructed view of the meadow. It's the only bedroom on the main floor thus providing privacy and quiet for guests sleeping there. The master has an attached bathroom with dual sinks, a jetted tub and separate shower. Once upstairs you will find yourself in the spacious loft which is open to the main floor. At one end of the loft area is a bedroom and full-bathroom. At the opposite end of the loft area is a large "second" gathering space with comfy sectional and TV/DVD and the 3rd bedroom. In the upstairs loft area there are a couple great separate spaces which have bunkbeds for additional room to hang-out and sleep. The cabin comfortably sleeps a maximum of 13 people. You'll be in close proximity to the golf course, playground, and a gentle hill for winter sledding. The clubhouse amenities include a pro-shop, 9 hole golf course and driving range. The house was wonderful and the view was very beautiful. Sharie was very responsive during our stay. We actually had no issues arise that required us to reach out to her specifically which was so nice. Sharie was proactive to welcome us, check in on us during the stay, and to provide clear instructions on check out. She was even proactive to ask for feedback to make sure the house was well maintained for future guests. Thank you Sharie :)

This lovely home was a perfect family house for a large group. We had two families staying there, complete with 5 children between us and grandparents, and everyone could have their own space. The kitchen was great for making large meals, and the three bedrooms were perfect for the adults. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and lounge upstairs, the space in the back garden (with a fantastic view of the mountains), and making s’mores at the fire pit. It was also very convenient for access to the West Yellowstone entrance (we spent 3 days in the national park). I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! Sharie is an amazing host who definitely provides a 5 star experience! Bear Creek Meadows is simply gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for when planning our family trip. The decor is as perfect as the view out the back! The beds are comfortable and the 2 beautiful living areas along with the pristine backyard provided some needed extra personal space and relaxation after such busy days in Yellowstone. We found Sharie extremely responsive and welcoming. We definitely felt like we were at our home away from home! Sharie keeps the cabin extremely clean, clutter free and very well appointed. It’s a 22-25 minute drive to the West Yellowstone entrance which worked well for our family. We took the cooler and the provided bear sprays with us every day! I highly recommend Sharie as a host as well as this property. Just a great easy experience start to finish. You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful property, we had an Elk visit our backyard on the. first morning. Very well stocked. I would say the best stocked air bnb that I have ever stayed in. Not all bedrooms have a fan but we did use one box fan that was provided in a closet. House was comfortable and very welcoming.
